Winona hat für die Werbekampagne des Modedesigners Marc Jacob nun doch gemodelt (*grins). Die Aufnahmen dieses Photoshootings erscheinen in den Märzausgaben von Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W, Elle und weiteren Modemagazinen (wenn dann nur die feinsten Adressen!, *grins).

Na ja, ob Sie das nicht besser hätte lassen sollen? Ich weiß nicht recht. Stell Sie nicht gerade im guten Licht da, nach allem was vorgefallen ist. Finde ich jedenfalls. Ich kann ihr ja unrecht tun (Hoffe ich sogar), aber irgendwie kommt mir das alles sehr berechnent vor. Nach dem Vorfall im Kaufhaus hat ihre Kariere jedenfalls jede menge Auftrib bekommen Einladung zu Samstag Nacht usw.. Und noch einmal. Der Diebstahl im Kaufhaus war ausgesprochen delitantisch. Mir ein wenig zu delitantisch.

Actress Winona Ryder made a fashion statement by wearing elegant Marc Jacobs
outfits during her December shoplifting trial. Now she's starring in Jacobs'
spring ads in a variety of photos that will appear in the March issues of
Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W, Elle and other magazines.

Ryder, 31, posed late last fall at L.A.'s Chateau Marmont hotel. She's in
Jacobs' feminine dresses and robes, and also showcases the designer's handbags
and shoes.

Ryder is on probation after her conviction for felony grand theft and vandalism
and is doing community service in L.A., says her spokeswoman, so she won't be
at Jacobs' show Monday night during New York fashion week.

Jacobs told Women's Wear Daily that he had asked Ryder in the past to do ads.
He suggested her for this campaign because "she looked so beautiful in all
these pictures we've seen recently." She sent him flowers and a note saying,
"I'm thrilled that you asked me. ... It's a great honor."

He admits to WWD that because of Ryder's trial, "it would be stupid for me to
say I didn't expect any reaction" to the ads. "People who want to make a big
deal will make a big deal. ... I just wanted beautiful pictures."
